Alice and I share our 31st-year wedding anniversary dinner in Montego Bay.

Alice and I spent our 31st wedding anniversary in Montego Bay, Jamaica at the Royal Decameron Hotel.
We were checked in by a friendly staff who asked us what brought us to Jamaica.
We replied it was our 31st anniversary.
Without missing a beat, the staff introduced to our lovely hostess Toni.
Toni asked us a myriad of questions. They were not invading, but I could tell she was peppering us for intel in order to personalize our stay.
On the first night Toni, our set us up with a private dining experience on the Royal Decameron pier. I mean wow, when I mean Toni set us up she really set us up.
The private dinner came with the only reserved table on the pier. Beautifully spread linen and flatware. A personal server who was right there at our beck and call, one amazing sunset and a meal that was off the charts good.
Alice and I have always thought that the best meals are best shared amongst friends. We had great friends that evening and are anxious to return to the hotel Royal Decameron and when we do, we hope Toni is still working there.
Where do you like to spend your #Vacation or #Anniversary? Spending time away from the hustle and bustle of life can really recharge the batteries.
“Alice and I have always thought that the best meals are best shared amongst friends..”
We thought that if we spend time together, what would we talk about. It is amazing, if you do spend time together enough times, the old words and rhythm and spark comes back that attracted you in the first place. Try it. And let us know how it worked out!
