On the island of Jamaica, just outside the city of Montego Bay, Alice and I went on an amazing tour of the city. We hired a local driver who showed us the good and the challenging parts of the city.
After touring for about an hour, we asked our driver where he would love to take us. He smiled and said, "ah, mon, let's go to get some coconuts."
We drove through the town, up and down hills, through all types of areas and then up a long winding road. He pulled the car over to the side of a small outdoor hut. We got out and were introduced to an amazing woman and her family. Guess what they sold. "Coconuts."

we approached the beautiful woman. Seeing Alice and me on the move towards her, she sprung into action asking how she might be able to help us.
We asked for a couple of coconuts and then thought of our driver. We asked him and he obliged us.
The coconut water was sweet and the inside pulp was delicious. Yet, it was the connection with humanity that one the day.
"Many tourists," our driver said, "never ask to see the real Jamaica." They only stay on the sandy beaches. Thank you for asking me to see where I love to come on the island I call home."
Though I was saddened by this statement, I shook it off. I was here to have a good time with my wife. If other people are limited in their fantasies, that is their concern. For me, I enjoy asking the locals where they desire to go. In my travels, I have found that question opens the most opportunities as well as greater connections.
If you have a chance to visit Montego Bay, Jamaica, please seek out a driver and ask for a grand tour of the island. They will not disappoint. u have a design in mind for your blog? Whether you prefer a trendy postcard look or you’re going for a more editorial style blog - there’s a stunning layout for everyone.”
